Short course on Symmetrical components

The Boston Chapter of the IEEE Power and Energy Society (http://www.ieeepesboston.org/) is conducting a 4 hour course that will provide advanced training on the theory and industrial applications of Symmetrical Components.

Dates: 
6:30 PM- 8:30 PM Wednesday, September 18
6:30 PM – 8:30 PM Wednesday, September 25
 
Location: National Grid Headquarters – 40 Sylvan Rd, Waltham, MA (Reservoir Woods, just off of Rt 128)

Professional Credits: 0.4 CEUs from the IEEE (equivalent to 4 Professional Development Hours (PDH))

Cost: $100 (PES Members); $150 (Non-PES Members), and $20 (Full time college students)

Audience: Engineers, scientists, and others interested in improving their knowledge on the theory and applications of Symmetrical Components.
 
Instructor: Dean Sorensen, Principal Engineer, Power System Protection Policy and Support Department, National Grid.
 
Registration: http://ieeepesboston.eventbrite.com  (Please note that the CEU application is free. During the last class, you will be asked to fill out an evaluation form to receive the CEU credits. You do not need to apply for the CEU credits during registration)
 
Notes:  The presentation slides will be provided prior to each class.

This course is designed to improve the knowledge of engineers, managers and scientists on the theory of Symmetrical Components.
