Congratulations to both Boise section teams for their outstanding performance in IEEEXtreme 12.0 on Oct 19-20. IEEEXtreme is a global challenge in which teams of IEEE Student members compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems.
The NNU team “BarrysBest” placed 8th and the BSU team “MoroWhiteErway” placed 37th out of 188 US teams. They placed 111th and 497th respectively out of 4049 teams worldwide.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered as proctors. And a huge thanks to our local sponsors: TSheets for covering the food costs for the event and HP, Cradlepoint, and InTimeTec for providing some great swag. We hope to see even more local teams compete next year!
