中国移动研究院首席科学家博士。出生于台湾，1987年获得Stanford大学电机工程系博士学位，曾先后在美国贝尔实验室、美国AT&T总部、台湾工研院电通所、香港应用科技研究院（曾任副总裁）工作，致力于移动通信领域的R&D。

易芝玲领衔中国移动绿色无线通信研究项目，带领团队成功实现了绿色新能源基站试点应用等，有利推动了节能新技术和“软”基站的发展和成熟，以配合中国移动4G网络的发展演进，拓展了中国移动在绿色网络与节能技术方面的国际影响力，并使中国移动在5G关键技术研究领域处于领先地位。同时，易芝玲更多地尝试原始创新，不仅仅是为4G服务，更为未来的5G打基础。

教育部“长江学者”，国内外知名的人机交互与普适计算学者。在清华大学计算机系获得学士、硕士、博士学位，1993年起留校任教。教研工作方面，史元春每年讲授4门本科和研究生课程，在高水平刊物和会议上发表百余篇学术论文，多篇获最佳论文奖。她主持完成的“普适计算基础软硬件关键技术与应用”研究成果获2015年度国家科技进步二等奖。目前，她还担任着全球创新学院（GIX学院）的中方院长。

2016年3月2日，在纪念“三八”国际妇女节106周年暨首都妇女先进典型表彰大会上，计算机系史元春老师荣获2015年北京市“三八”红旗奖章，彰显了计算机系老师的杰出风范。
