Professional Development Luncheon

Tuesday, September 1, 2015  |  12-1 PM

GPC Headquarters – Banquet Room 241 Ralph McGill Blvd NE | Atlanta GA 30308 | Map

Register for our Professional Development Luncheon: “From teleCommunications and Resistors to Communications and Relationships”. We are honored to host Anthony Washington, an exceptional speaker that will share with us the essentials and the irrelevant of how to succeed in the corporate world.

The corporate paradigm has changed, it is no longer about what you know, it is who you know. Corporate leaders say that the ability to communicate well orally is one of the most important skills their recruiters look for in job candidates. Anthony is going to share his lessons learned on how to get into Corporate America and how to succeed once you get there. Anthony is going to explain how he went from learning about resistors and telecommunications to relationships and communications. Anthony’s credentials include seven (7) years in Toastmasters (International Speaking Organization) where he was voted best speaker as well serving as a United Way Loaned Executive. He will share his lessons learned after years of education and experience working in a Fortune 500 Corporation.

Registration for the meeting has started and will continue until Sunday, August 30th. Online admission is going to be free for IEEE Members and $10 for Non-IEEE Members. If you forgot to register, you are always welcomed to come in. Admission price at the registration table the day of the luncheon are $10 for IEEE Members and $15 for Non-IEEE Members.
