2016 Alaska Section Award Nominations

Now is the time to start thinking of individuals and companies who are deserving of recognition, then to make a concious effort to fill out the application and submit it.

Reasons to recognize from among the IEEE Alaska Section Membership

INDIVIDUALS

Somebody you know and work with must need recognition.  NOMINATE THEM

You have a mentor that guided you to the great engineer you are today.  NOMINATE THEM.

Somebody saved your bacon on a project and you want to thank them in a big way.  NOMINATE THEM
A co-worker has been steady on the job for a long time, and you appreciate that.   NOMINATE THEM

An employee (IEEE member) has been helping you make money and bring in successful projects for years.  NOMINATE THEM

Someone has had many innovative ideas for a long time that have all worked.  NOMINATE THEM

THERE ARE MANY REASONS FOR A FELLOW ENGINEER TO BE DESERVING OF RECOGNITION AND AN AWARD.  SURELY YOU HAVE SOMEONE IN MIND.  TAKE THE EFFORT.  FILL OUT THE NOMINATION FORM ATTACHED AND SEND IT IN SOON.

COMPANIES

There is a firm in town that has done innovative work; provided inspiration to their engineering employees (and others); have supported or initiated humanitarian efforts; or one of many different activities deserving of recognition.
