Africa Council Committee

The Council shall have a Council Committee, which shall consist of:

1. Elected Officers – the Council Chair, the Council Chair-Elect, the Council Secretary and the Council Treasurer,
2. Representatives of each Section/Subsection in the Council appointed by the Section/Subsection Executive Committee.
3. The Council Committee may appoint additional members of the Council as may be required, except that such additional members shall be without vote.

In no case shall the aggregate number of Council officers plus appointed voting members, exceed the number of Section/Subsection Representatives, except where a Council officer is a Section Subsection Representative.

The duties of the Council Committee shall include the election of all Council officers and the coordination of those delegated tasks that can be best done together by the Sections/Subsections.
