The Power & Energy Society Chapter regularly contributes to various causes in the Singapore local community. The following are some of the awards and grants given out by the chapter:

In addition, the chapter regularly contributes financially to the IEEE student branches in both NTU and NUS.

• Supported the IEEE NTU students’ branch with an amount of $200 for their president’s visit to Region 10 Student Congress at University of Hong Kong in 2004.
• Contributed $300 to NTU student branch for organizing the IEEE Island Wide Online Quiz in March 2006.

Each year at the IEEE PES General Meeting, more than 400 colleagues and their guests gather to recognize those whose outstanding achievements merited acknowledgement by the power and energy community. Learn more about the PES Award Program
