The IEEE ED Kalyani Government Engineering College SB chapter and Department of ECE and EE of Bengal Institute of Technology and Management (BITM), Bolpur jointly organized an One-day Seminar on “’Advanced CMOS Devices” October04, 2015 at BITM, Bolpur, Santiniketan, West Bengal, India. The objective of the workshop was to present the topics on the recent advancements of CMOS technology for providing great opportunity for the students and faculty members to be updated with novelties in the modern scientific field in order to enhance their research activities.

The event started with a welcome and opening address by Dean and officer-in-charge, BITM. The opening address was followed by a technical talk delivered by Dr. Angsuman Sarkar of Kalyani Government Engineering College, Kalyani, Nadia. In his talk on “Advancement of CMOS devices” he discussed the basic concepts and evolution of CMOS technology.

The workshop was very well received by more than 65 students and 30 faculty members. The lectures were interactive with lively participation by the attendees.
