This seminar is intended to help the designers of electronic products understand the design decisions that will ultimately determine whether their product meets electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements. It focuses on the steps that need to be taken during the product design cycle to ensure that electronic systems will function reliably in their intended real-world environment. The seminar is organized into four sessions targeting specific important aspects of the product design process. Attendees will learn how to interpret and understand system EMI requirements, build effective computer models, design robust circuits and software, and make critical system-level and board-level design decisions. A structured and methodical approach that addresses EMI issues at all stages of the design minimizes the risks of extended testing, design rework and product recalls.
