Scope of the Working Group
The IEEE Power & Energy Society Multi-Agent Systems Working group defines the drivers for and benefits gained by the use of multi-agent systems (MAS) in the field of power engineering.
The working group (WG) was formed by the IEEE Power & Energy Society Intelligent Systems Subcommittee to identify and disseminate the details of key technical challenges for the proper use of the technology within the power engineering domain.
The IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) MAS WG aims to provide technical leadership in terms of recommendation and guidance on the appropriate use of standards, design methodologies, and implementation approaches.
The technical content on this new site is based on the MAS technical white paper we, as a WG, published in the IEEE Transactions on Power Systems. This is a starting point, and you are asked to contribute technical details, key publications, and other links which can be included. Use the Get Involved to contact us about updates and changes.
Over time, this site is intended to become a key repository for all researchers working in MAS for energy applications.
