GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Research Group (GIEE) on Telecommunications and Networks, focuses on processing information (signals, images, video, and audio), systems of optical communications, communication networks, personal communications, mobility, localization and wireless networks. The digital information processing area extends to many applications in video, voice, audio, radar, automotive technology, radio frequency, antennas, optics, quantum processing, biological systems, geological systems, etc. One of the concentrations of the group is the development of mathematical, adaptive and intelligent algorithms (machine and deep learning), their potential applications and their efficient implementation in digital processors, FPGAs, or specific hardware platforms. It is through this GIEE in Telecommunications and Networks, that there is a match in the interests, approach and research with those of the Center SenSIP (sensors, signal and information processing) of Arizona State University (ASU) belonging to the NSF Net-Centric and Cloud Software and Systems I/UCRC.
