Dong Wei graduated from University of Tianjin, China, in 1991 with a degree of MSEE. In 1996, he graduated from University of Tianjin with the Master degree. He worked in Motorola China Company since 1996 as a RF design engineer for more than six years.  During these years he gained expertise in a wide area of design and implementation problems. In the early years he was focused on RF/analog designs. He then expanded his area of expertise by working on system level designs and signal processing for system design with emphasis on digital communication systems. In 2011, he delivered DPD training for Chinese customers. He joined Agilent EEsof in the year 2001. He is currently a senior applications engineer in the Agilent EEsof Services and Support team.
