Yen-Hsyang Chu, Taiwan, ROC
Yen-Hsyang Chu received his PhD degree in atmospheric physics from the National Central University in 1977. He currently is a professor at the Institute of Space Science and also serving as Dean of College of Earth Science and Director of Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, National Central University in Taiwan, ROC.
He specializes in ionospheric physics and radar remote sensing of atmosphere and space environment and has published more than 100 papers focused on the topics of ionospheric morphology and plasma irregularities, meteor observation, wind and precipitation measurements with VHF radar.
He became a member of the ICCST Executive Committee in 2014 and is responsible for organizing the 2015 ICCST in Taipei, Taiwan, ROC.
