Alexei Gorokhov

Alexei Gorokhov received his PHD in electrical engineering from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications (Telecom Paris) in 1997. From 1997 till 2000 he has been with French National Research Center (CNRS). From 2000 to 2003 he has been with Philips Research Labs focusing on MIMO WLAN systems design and performance analysis. In the same period he has been visiting scientist in Information Systems Laboratory at Stanford University. He joined Qualcomm Inc in fall 2003 where he is currently Sr Directior of Technology w/ QCT. At Qualcomm, Alexei has been working on design, evaluation and implementation of cellular broadband systems, leading systems effort for OFDMA based air interface known as Ultra Mobile Broadband (UMB), standardization of LTE evolution (LTE Advanced) and more recently, design & commercialization of 4G modem cores. More recently, his focus has been design, performance evaluation and implementation of 5G systems.
