Call for Papers

Following the success of the first edition of the IEEE Data Science Workshop, we are pleased to announce the second workshop in this series. DSW 2019 will be held at Minneapolis, MN, USA, and will feature a number of plenary talks from the world’s leading researchers in the area, special focus sessions, and contributed papers. All papers will undergo peer review in order to provide feedback to the authors and ensure a high-quality program.

  • Computational models and representation for data science
    • Tensor factorizations. Compressive sampling. Randomized linear algebra. Graph simplifications and multiresolution representations. Transformations and spectral representations. Distributed algorithms.

Important Dates

  • Submission of Proposals for Special Sessions: December 14, 2018
  • Notification of Special Session Acceptance: December 21, 2018
  • Submission of Papers: February 8, 2019
  • Notification of Paper Acceptance: March 15, 2019
  • Final Paper Submission: April 2, 2019

Submission of Papers: Prospective authors are invited to submit original full-length papers, with up to four pages for technical content including figures and references, using the formatting guidelines on the website for reviewing purposes. All accepted papers must be presented at the workshop to appear in the proceedings.

Best student paper awards, selected by a DSW committee, will also be presented at the workshop.
