2010 IEEE Green Energy Conference (Currently IEEE GESS)

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Systems Council Chapter of the Coastal Los Angeles Section, would like to thank those who attended the first annual Energy Workshop: “A System Approach Toward Green Energy Production and Adaptive Power Distribution.” If you missed it, or if you saw something you’d like to review, please visit our slide download page!

Conference Objective:

  • “System engineering is a robust approach to the design, creation, and operation of systems. In simple terms, the approach consists of identification and quantification of system goals, creation of alternative system design concepts, performance of design trades, selection and implementation of the best design, verification that the design is properly built and integrated, and post-implementation assessment of how well the system meets (or met) the goals.” —NASA Systems engineering handbook, 1995, SP-610S.
  • Our conference objective is to present a system approach to Green Energy and Power Distribution, and provide a broad scope of the strategies, procedures, and techniques required to properly integrate the various aspects of emerging Green Energy Technology systems.
